Suppliers & responsible sourcing
We buy minerals only from licensed, verified sources — and we work with suppliers of goods and services who share our standards.

Selling minerals to Kursi
Kursi Trades & Services operates buying and aggregation centres that give licensed miners, cooperatives, aggregators and artisanal and small-scale producers a formal route to market, with fair weighing, transparent assay and prompt payment.
Before we buy, every mineral supplier completes our onboarding and due diligence, aligned with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals and Nigerian law.
What we ask every mineral supplier for
Valid titles and licences
A current mining lease, small-scale mining lease, quarry lease or mineral buying/selling licence issued through the Mining Cadastre Office.
Company and ownership
CAC registration documents and the identity of beneficial owners, plus tax identification.
Origin and chain of custody
Evidence of the mine site, transport and any intermediaries, so each lot can be traced back to source.
Royalties and permits
Evidence that applicable royalties have been paid and that the material may lawfully be sold and moved.
Labour and human rights
Confirmation that no child labour, forced labour or abuse is involved, and that security forces are not illegally involved at the site.
Sanctions and integrity checks
Screening against sanctions and politically exposed person lists, consistent with anti-money-laundering rules for dealers in precious metals and stones.

We will not buy minerals that
- come from illegal or unlicensed mining, or from protected areas
- involve child labour, forced labour or any serious human-rights abuse
- finance armed groups or involve illegal payments to public or private security forces
- involve bribery, fraudulent misrepresentation of origin, or evasion of royalties and taxes
- cannot be traced to a known and lawful source
If we identify any of these risks we suspend purchases and, where required, report to the relevant authorities.

Suppliers of goods and services
We purchase equipment, consumables, logistics, engineering and professional services across the Group. Procurement follows our Code of Business Conduct and Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy, and we prefer qualified Nigerian suppliers in line with our local content commitments.
Kursi Group never asks suppliers for payment to be registered or to win business. Report any such request through our speak-up channel.
